The agreement, in plain words
This is the agreement for buying from and using pressedeggs.com. It's written to be read.
Who you're dealing with
Pressed Eggs is run by Pressed Eggs, a small shop in the United States. You can reach us at [email protected].
The shirts
Every shirt is printed to order after you pay. Prices are in US dollars and include shipping within the United States. The price you see is the price you pay — we don't add sales tax at checkout. The colours you see on screen are a close match to the printed shirt, but screens vary and garment-dyed fabric varies a little from batch to batch — that's the nature of the thing, not a defect.
We ship to the United States only. We can decline or cancel an order — for example if a price was listed in error or the payment doesn't clear — and if we do, you're refunded in full.
Payment
Payments are taken by Stripe. By paying you confirm you're allowed to use the card. We never see or store your card number.
Delivery, returns and refunds
How long things take is on the shipping page; what happens when something's wrong is on the returns page. Both are part of these terms. Because each shirt is made for you, we don't take returns for a change of mind, but we replace or refund anything we got wrong.
The art and the words
The egg grades, the headlines, the artwork and the design of this site belong to Pressed Eggs. Buying a shirt buys you the shirt — wear it anywhere, photograph it, show it off. It doesn't buy the right to reproduce the artwork on other products or to sell copies of it. Linking to any page here is always fine.
Accounts and email
An account is just an email address you control. Keep it yours; don't sign up with someone else's. We can close an account that's abusing the site. You can leave any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
What we're not responsible for
We'll do what this page and the shipping and returns pages say. Beyond that, to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site or the shirts, and our total liability for any order is capped at what you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you can't waive under the law where you live.
The small print
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts. If we change them, the date below changes and the new version applies to orders placed after it. If a part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
